Sage's Video Game

Sage has started to make his own video game using the Unreal engine. It is the same one that August is using. Sage has started making a 3-D platforming game as well as a driving game. He wants to be a video game designer when he grows up and is already off to a good start at age 7! Here are a few scenes from his game which he has only just begun.

Our November Bulletin Board

Since Grandpa and Grandma took a tour of South Korea last month, we decided to study it for the month of November. Besides making things in the kitchen, we also read a lot of fairy tales. Our favorite ones were the Magic Spring and the Tiger and the Dried Persimmon. We also found little Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) cards that Aunty Ani had sent us years ago when she lived in Korea.

Great Wolf Lodge

We had such a great time at Great Wolf Lodge in Grandmound, Washington.  We agreed it was one of the best trips ever. After a very long car ride through much traffic and a stop at the Olive Garden, we arrived at the resort. After setting down our bags, we promptly got changed and headed for the water park. It was my first time on waterslides and the boys convinced me to go on the scariest ride there first! Hands and head shaking, I vowed never to go on the Howlin' Tornado ever again. All of the other rides were much tamer after that and we all had a good time. At night we played glow in the dark mini golf. Sage got the green cotton candy he had been eyeing on the way in, and August got to watch the basketball game on T.V.
The next morning we went back to the waterslide park for more fun and had some Mexican food before heading back to Canada. Although we only stayed for one night, we got the later check out time and didn't feel rushed. We can't wait to go back again maybe next time with Chloe and Bella.
