Movie Night at David Lam Park

Sage and I had fun watching Goonies at David Lam Park. As you can see the grass is brown due to the summer drought. Sage had seen Goonies about a year before and had remembered parts of it. Love those long summer days and staying out late.

Not- Back- To- School Picnic

We attended the Westside Homelearners Picnic at Jericho Beach on Wednesday. The weather was beautiful and we were able to catch up with some familiar families and meet some new ones. This was a great way to kick off our third year of homeschooling.

Pull Up Bar

I used to have a pull up bar in my bedroom growing up. We just got one here. It's great for burning crazy monkey energy and developing upper body for pole tricks. The boys are a little short so they made their own "nest" to climb in to reach the bar.

Climbing at Hive

August usually takes the boys to Hive on the weekends to get some of their energy out. But this week we all went and joined in the fun. Since the boys are more experienced, they climbed their way to the top without any fear. For me, I was more cautious and liked to stick to the easiest routes. We all had a great time and toned muscles we don't normally use. Can't wait to go back again.
