Piano Progress

As part of our homeschooling, I've been teaching the boys piano for the last few years. I enjoy playing and even though I haven't had a lot of lessons, I do play on a regular basis and feel music is an important part of education. The boys have excellent memories and can memorize entire songs with ease. Dagan prefers long and complex songs, learning a few lines each week. He can play The Theme from Star Wars and Imperial March. Sage on the other hand prefers short, easier songs from the Alfred's Basics B Book.

Washington State Spring Fair in Puyallup

Both Won on Their First Try

These guys are thrill seekers! I'm content to stand on solid ground holding the stuff while they go on any roller coaster they are tall enough to ride (Sage just made the height for the Classic Coaster).  They rode the Wildcat and the Classic Coaster at least three times each and ended the day with Extreme Scream. We ate Mexican corn, deep fried butter (like a very buttery donut), cotton candy and ice cream. We went on a Friday and bought discount tickets online so there was no waiting in line. Sage won popping a balloon with a dart and Dagan won shooting a water gun at a target. Fun was had by all.
