We listened to the Russian alphabet being recited and sung and discussed the differences between Russian and English letters. We listened to music by Russian composer Prokofiev. The boys enjoyed watching Peter and the Wolf and listening to the different instruments representing the different characters. His "Dance of the Knights" from Romeo and Juliet was great as well. We watched a travel video that showed cathedrals, museums and statues. We remembered playing with the nesting dolls at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We read books and located Russia on the map.
